Johoriah, S.Pd., M.Pd., As the Principal revealed, MPLS (the introduction of the school environment) is an orientation activity that aims to introduce new students to the school environment, teachers, staff, facilities, and school rules.
The introduction of the school environment helps students adapt to the new school atmosphere and reduce anxiety. Introducing classrooms, libraries, fields, canteens, toilets, and other facilities, making it easier for new students to adapt to the new school environment, teachers, and peers.
Introducing school rules, learning ethics, and school culture, developing positive interactions between students and other school members. Helping students find their interests and talents. Inviting students to go around the school to get to know facilities, introduce teachers, school principals, and other school staff.
Conducting fun games to practice cooperation and interaction, provide information about school rules through quizzes or games, teaching students about the actions that must be taken during a disaster.
Helping students introducing themselves to classmates, providing material about various things related to schools, such as school vision and mission, effective learning methods, and others.
MPLS is an important moment for new students to feel accepted and comfortable in the new school environment. This activity helps students build self -confidence and reduce anxiety.
The period of introduction of the school environment also provides opportunities for students to get to know the teacher and school staff more closely.
